Parents' Association

Hello and welcome to the Bangor Grammar Schools' Parents' Association (BGSPA) webpage. Membership is open to parents of all boys attending the school.

Our aim is to:

• promote co-operation within the school

• improve school amenities

• advance the educational standards and prestige of the school

We also provide valuable opportunities for parents to meet socially and build informal links with the school.

Over the past three years, we have been able to:-
• Cover the cost of a presentation screen.
• Supply a camera for the Art Department.
• Provide an Applemac PC for the Drama Department.
• Provide a donation towards a piano for the Music Department.
Last year, the Parents Association was able to donate £3,000, which facilitated the purchase of a minibus for the School.
This year, our focus is to support the School Library.
By attending one PA event you can help us raise these important funds.
If you cannot attend an evening could you donate a raffle prize?

Join us:

We would like to extend a warm welcome to any parents interested in joining our committee. It’s a lot of fun, not too time consuming and a great way to meet other parents while helping the school. Our meetings take place at the school so please feel free to come along.

First Monday of the month at 7.30pm
(The meeting lasts no longer than 9pm)
