- All boys have two periods of Games per week
- Homework - Homework is seen as central to the consolidation of work completed in class. An average of one and a half hours at KS3 is recommended. Homework timetables are provided for Years 8, 9 and 10.
- Instrumental tuition of a high quality is available from specialist music tutors and leads to external awards.
- A Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator liaises with external bodies to ensure, that the academic requirements of any boy with special needs are met.
- Parental Consultation Meetings take place throughout the year.
- Career Planning - In Year 10 students begin to map out their career paths with a conference on Personal Career Planning. Students have to produce an Action Plan. Following this, they have a series of PSE classes in Careers, focusing on choices they face ahead. Individual interviews with Careers staff are arranged following consultations at the Parents’ Meeting.
